Android 16 is here, What' s new

Google has recently released the Android 16 in beta mode, introduced with Material 3 design making it more flexible and easy to use. 

This June, Android 16 is going to be released for multiple platforms, making the devices smoother and fluid with an exciting material expressive design. 

Material 3 expressive is the material design used in Android 16, made by Google, where the animation is just above anything else before. 

What’s new? 

Notifications 

When you dismiss a notification by sliding it to the other side, the shape of the notification changes leading to a smooth animation. 

Quick settings 

A new control centre is introduced, where brightness adjustment, just after that, Wi-Fi & Bluetooth, quick share and modes features are there to use it instantly. The back of the control centre is blurred, bringing a more unique appearance. The tiles have rounded rectangular shapes. While selecting any feature, the tiles transform into a circle form, making the tile transform along with it. The size of the tiles can also be changed manually. At the bottom of the quick centre the power & settings buttons are provided to access it easily. 

Lock screen 

Lock screen has a new look that allows users to customise it as they want. Also, weather change can be done. 

Android 16 supported devices:- 

Android 16 beta version has been released for the Pexels devices, and will be released for the OnePlus, Oppo, Samsung and more devices.
