OpenAI is working on SearchGPT to bring the search module, where people can find any information around the globe using ChatGPT.
According to the report SearchGPT launched in July by open AI is soon going to be free to use by the users and can be accessed through ChatGPT. SearchGPT is based on finding information around the globe just like in Google’s search engine. Users can use this SearchGPT to find information around the globe.
There are lots of search engines that offer information, download links, easy to convert and many more online tools, talking about Google’s search engine holds 90% of the market share about 98% of people around the globe use Google as their preferred search engine, rather than using Microsoft Bing, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo etc.
The announcement of SearchGPT inside ChatGPT will bring tough competition to Google.
The new ChatGPT interface has also been changed to “What can I help with?”, giving it a new look that indicates not only providing information but also, in the future, providing some hyperlinks.
The report also says that SearchGPT would not be a specific part; it would be part of ChatGPT only, where people can find information and hyperlinks.
Coming to the context of revenue, there is no confirmation of sharing the earnings from the advertisement that will be seen on the people’s website until now. OpenAI has not given any information regarding advertising website revenue.
