iOS 19 released with liquid glass display

All eyes on the apple biggest software event WWDC (Worldwide Developers Conference) held on 9th June and brought iOS 19 the next update to the iPhone. In the event the Apple renamed iOS 19 as iOS 26 to being continue with year, and implement it on 2026.
Feature of iOS 26?
Inside the Apple event, iOS 26 was introduced with tons of new features and a new look named “liquid glass”, which was similar to VisionOS. Fantastic round edge apps icon, new lock screen with 3D effect, including liquid glass face, liquid glass can be seen like a transparent liquid body rather than the old one, white or black solid colour, also introduced in light and dark mode.
Liquid Design language
- Translucent fluid interface on the window of widgets, control centre, and notification.
- Lock screen redesign for a 3D effect.
- Home Screen is published with a new glass effect.
Artificial intelligence
- Live translation takes place during voice and text in Messages and phone calls
- Genmoji: AI turns into a new real emoji.
- Visual Intelligence: search on the way using the screenshot just by tap on the screen feature.
- Shortcuts support: AI-powered actions includes image creation and text summary in automation.
Why is iOS 26 not iOS 19?
Apple changed the name from iOS 19 to iOS 26 as they’re switching to a new naming system based on the year. So, iOS 26 likely means the version of the operating system coming in 2026. Just they are matching their software name with the coming year.
