Overview
Microsoft Phone Link app is an app that is used to connect your Android or iOS devices to a Windows PC. This app allows you to manage tasks, send messages, take calls, receive notifications and more.
What is an Instant Hotspot in Phone Link?
Instant Hotspot is a new feature introduced by Microsoft in the Microsoft Phone Link app that allows you to connect to the internet directly from your phone to your Windows PC.
Here’s how to do it:-
1. Before we get started, pair your Android or iOS phone with your Phone link app.
2. In the Phone Link app go to the menu > enable Instant Hotspot
3. On your PC, go to Wi-Fi settings and then select your phone hotspot.
Latest update
This feature has been already introduced by Microsoft in its phone link app but it was limited to some Android phones such as Samsung, now it has been extended to more Android devices like One Plus and OPPO. The user using One plus or OPPO mobile phones now they can use this Instant Hotspot feature in the Microsoft Phone link app on your Windows PC.
